Professor,

I will definitely be listening tonight. This blog is great! I had forgotten that you had told our class that you run a site. I would love it, if at all possible, if you could address tonight the following issue:

In the United States, what has made the discolosure of adolescent/youthful indiscretions necessary in the months/years leading up to national elections? In Obama's 1995 memoir, he admits to having experimented with cocaine and marijuana. Does this cleanse his past, or will this be used against him? Why should we care? AND are his past indiscretions excacerbated by the fact that he is an African American male, or will it be the same as Bush? I personally couldn't care less about what he did as a 17-year-old (or any candidate for that matter), in fact I see his experimentations as a sign of normalcy. I'm not sure if this question makes sense, but I'd love to know what you think.

Wham

PS- You have to check out a documentary called "The Funk Brothers." It's about the Motown backing band...incredible.
