Enjoyed the NPR Barbershop. Barbara Walters The View immediately came to my mind; four different views and voices. The audience is allowed to eavesdrop without feeling as though we're being sneaky. Unlike the view, you did not talk over each other. Looking forward to the next conversation.

Good show Doc ,refreshing to have Brothers discuss timely topics excluding the media filter;I like the format minus Michele interjection, it harms the ebb and flow of the conversation

I enjoyed it and I'm very happy for you. In the past I linked to Dauphin's blog when he gave a spirited and well reasoned critique of John McWhorter but I had never heard him speak before. I wasn't disappointed. As you well know, the written word is much more deliberate and considered than the spoken word. And it's not easy to get your point across in such a constrained format like radio.
What I look forward to is when you guys are in disagreement. Unfortunately, it's rare to find true brothers who love black and brown people, who are intellectually honest and sound and engaged on opposite sides without deteriorating into Fox or gladiator mode and simply seek to vanquish their foes or have predictable responses. I find that my development is spurred most by folks espousing a position different from my own but are very engaging and tolerant of others.
P.S. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary!
