While there are certainly many things about that video that are daunting and downright frightening when you look at the state of education here (St. Louis just got there public school system jacked by the state), I can't help but be excited by the new possibilities for a future in which the whole world is at the touch of your fingertips.

Kids in America are certainly losing their educational foothold but they still seem to be able to grasp the newest innovations in technical acheivement and are so much less conservative than the generations before them. I think this speaks volumes about their desire to learn and absorb new information they just need an educational system that recgonizes this.

Nice video

If watching and learning all that made me have a heart attack, there is nothing all the technology and geniuses in the world could do to save me.

I guarantee you this. In 2049, computers may or may not be more intelligent than the whole human race, but the Koran will remain the same.

And what is to be made about the Indian birthrate? <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_India" rel="nofollow">Hmmm</a>.

In 2045 will the rich get richer? Will people believe in the rule of law? Will children dance to music? Will people read Shakespeare? Will politicians be dishonest? Will men march off to war? Will the drummer be stupid? Will women wear makeup?

Conservatism is the art and discipline of knowing what kind of change is meaningless against which the very nature of man remains unchanged.

Distrust empowerment.
