Blacksmythe

A couple of weeks ago I appeared on the Marc Steiner show talking about politics. Doni Glover, a local political analyst, was on the show with me. There were a couple of interesting disagreements about the nature of “black unity” and about Clarence Thomas….but I thought he was extremely knowledgeable about Baltimore politics, and he had a good radio presence. Afterwards, he asked me to appear on his show. I wasn’t able to, but took a raindate.

A couple of weeks later I get a hit from him asking to speak at a weekly political get together he sponsors at Edens Lounge (one of the coolest bars in the city, incidentally owned by an Ethiopian sister). I accepted, and afterwards was interviewed on his web tv show. He just put the interview up on his site. Check it out if you get a chance. It isn’t that long, and he’s pretty good at what he does.
